01 Is this a short music production course?
Yes, but it is an intensive, not a light intro-to-sound short course. Two weeks, full time, in person in Melbourne, covering the whole craft and the business around it: production, mixing, mastering, Dolby Atmos, launching as an artist and running yourself as a producer, with a 160,000-word textbook behind it. You come out with most of what a degree teaches, plus the trade secrets a syllabus never reaches. Two courses run this way, for Artists and for Freelancers, and both are ten days in the room.
02 Do I get a certificate?
Yes, an Academy of Audio certificate. What it is not is a government-accredited, nationally recognised qualification, so if that specific piece of paper is what you need, that is a university's job. What you take away here is the craft itself and the work to prove it, taught by people who do this full time in the industry.
03 Is it accredited?
No. We are not a registered training organisation and we do not issue a nationally recognised certificate. What you get instead is the craft, taught hands-on by producers with real credits, in a working studio. If a visa, a pathway or an employer asks specifically for an accredited qualification, that is a university's job rather than ours.
04 Is there a part-time or weekend option?
No. Both courses run full days, Monday to Friday, for two weeks, and that intensity is the point. It is how professional sessions actually run, and it is what lets you cover the whole process in the time. 05 Is there an online version?

06 How much is it?
$4,890 inc GST, for either course. Two weeks, full time, no debt. That is a fraction of the cost and time of a $40,000-to-$70,000 diploma, for a depth of craft most people do not reach for years.
07 When is the next intake?
January 2027. There are twelve places, and it runs when the cohort is full enough to be worth your ten days, so it is not automatic. 08 I am a complete beginner. Is this for me?
